The program begins with the ever popular Rossini Overture to Italian Girl in Algiers followed by Utah Symphony Principal Oboe Robert Stephenson joining the orchestra in Mozart’s famous Oboe Concerto in C Major!

The virtuosity of Utah Symphony Principal Viola Brant Bayless will be showcased in this program which includes Bruch’s Romanze and Von Weber’s Andante and Hungarian Rondo. Equally comfortable in the classical, bluegrass, fiddle, and compositional worlds, violinist and multi-Grammy winner Mark O’Connor has taken the music world by storm and worked with musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma and Edgar Meyer to Alison Kraus and Bela Fleck. Don’t miss this folk-inspired program with the Utah Symphony.
