Written when he was 19, Mozart's Third Violin Concerto shows his growing maturity as a composer. Since cadenzas were intended as improvisational figures in Mozart's time but rarely performed as such today, in this piece we'll showcase a cadenza written by a modern master of improvisation, Wynton Marsalis.

Join Deborah Henson-Conant and her harp as she amazes you with her Blues-Flamenco-Celtic-Funk-Folk-Jazz cross genre dynamic style. See her once and you'll never look at the harp the same way again. Also, recognizable from 4th of July Celebrations, V for Vendetta, and any other excuse to use cannons in a symphonic work, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture was originally written to commemorate Moscow's successful defense against Napoleon’s army at the 1812 Battle of Borodino.
